Location: Remote position based in the Atlanta, Georgia market. Candidates must reside within approximately 75 miles of Atlanta to remain accessible for court appearances, client needs, and other in-person matters.

Job Description

  • Independently manage a litigation caseload from initial intake through resolution or trial.
  • Serve as first-chair counsel on appropriate matters and take an active role in courtroom strategy and advocacy.
  • Handle court appearances, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
  • Represent clients in contract disputes, restrictive covenant matters, employment and labor conflicts, construction disputes, and employment discrimination claims.
  • Develop litigation strategy and provide practical guidance directly to clients.
  • Draft motions, briefs, discovery, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
  • Research complex procedural, regulatory, and substantive legal issues.
  • Collaborate closely with senior counsel and experienced paralegal support.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while communicating clearly about strategy, risk, and case developments.
  • Assist with corporate or transactional matters if interested.

Qualifications

  • Active Georgia Bar license.
  • 5+ years of litigation experience.
  • First-chair trial experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation matters from start to finish.
  • Strong deposition, courtroom, motion practice, legal writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and client communication abilities.
  • Experience with business, commercial, employment, construction, or restrictive covenant litigation is strongly preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Must reside within approximately 75 miles of Atlanta.
