Job description

Celerion is committed to swift, exceptional clinical research through translational medicine.  Every day, we use our experience, agility, and innovative research strategies to help get drugs to market faster.  
    We are seeking a full-time Biostatistician for our Data Management and Biometric department..  The selected candidates will be responsible for developing statistical analysis plan, performing statistical analyses using SAS and preparing reports for assigned projects.  
Responsibilities
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Provide input on data collection methods and coordinate customized electronic database transmissions to 
    Sponsors 
  • Support the randomization process by generating randomization schedules and randomizations plans
  • Develop statistical analysis plans for simple to complex studies including table shells and, when appropriate, other programming plans
  • Direct and oversee the execution of planned statistical analysis and summarization for simple to complex studies (including tables, figures, and data listings) independently 
  • Write statistical methods and results sections of reports for assigned projects
  • Review draft report for consistency and completeness 
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients regarding timelines, deliverables, and commitments 
  • Provide programming assistance, as applicable  
  • Interact with internal departments (e.g., data management, project management, etc.) 
  • Lead and/or participate in functions required to ensure success of department and/or market segment team

     
     






  • Requirements
  • Master's degree in Statistics-related field and 3+ years industry experience or the equivalent OR 
    Bachelor's degree in Statistics-related field and 3+ years industry related experience and 4+years SAS 
    programming experience of the equivalent 
  • Proficiency with SAS programming 
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills 
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
