Job description

Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: Graphic Designer and Content Specialist

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $3,000 AUD/Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client offers the opportunity to work directly with the founder across three growing Australian brands spanning mortgage lending, skincare, and daily multivitamin supplements. With substantial real-world ad spend already in market and multiple brands requiring fresh creative, the business is building out its content capabilities with above-market pay for the right creative talent.

Role Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer & Content Specialist who can work directly with the founder across multiple Australian brands spanning mortgage lending, skincare, and daily multivitamin supplements.

This is not a role for someone who needs to be trained from the ground up. We’re looking for a creative operator who can take an idea, turn it into high-quality content, use AI to accelerate production, and understand what makes digital advertising perform.

What You’ll Do

  • Create high-quality static and video creative for Meta ads, email marketing, and social media across multiple brands.
  • Produce mortgage advertising focused on non-bank specialty lending and debt consolidation.
  • Turn raw skincare footage into polished 15–20 second video ads, alongside static creative.
  • Create content for a growing daily multivitamin supplement brand.
  • Develop multiple creative variations from winning concepts, hooks, formats, and visual angles.
  • Review creative performance and use insights such as hook/hold rate, CTR and other Meta Ads Manager data to inform new iterations.
  • Work from existing winners and rapidly produce new variants rather than waiting for detailed briefs.
  • Use AI throughout the creative workflow, including AI image generation, AI video, voiceover, editing, enhancement and upscaling.
  • Maintain brand consistency across multiple businesses while adapting creative to different audiences and offers.
  • Support email creative for a database of 10,000+ HubSpot contacts.
  • Help build out the brands’ social content where required, without allowing social management to take priority over paid creative production.

Requirements

AI & Creative Technology — Required

AI is a core requirement of this role, not a nice-to-have. You should have hands-on experience using tools such as:

  • AI Image: Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Nano Banana or equivalent
  • AI Video: Veo, Sora, Runway or equivalent
  • AI Voice: ElevenLabs or equivalent
  • Upscaling/Enhancement: Topaz or equivalent
  • Other AI tools that improve creative production speed and quality

You should be able to explain how you use AI as part of your actual production workflow, not simply demonstrate that you have experimented with AI tools.

Required Software

Professional experience with:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe After Effects or CapCut for high-volume production
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Figma
  • Canva — genuine requirement

Experience working with Canva brand kits is particularly important. This role requires someone comfortable moving between professional Adobe workflows and fast, practical Canva production.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong commercial graphic design and video editing experience.
  • Experience creating live digital advertising creative, not just portfolio pieces.
  • Strong understanding of what makes an ad visually compelling and attention-grabbing.
  • Ability to take a winning creative and quickly develop multiple meaningful variations.
  • Comfortable working with performance data and using it to improve creative output.
  • Strong understanding of short-form video, hooks, pacing and retention.
  • Highly proficient across the required design, video and AI tools.
  • Able to work independently, move quickly, and produce finished work without extensive hand-holding.
  • Strong attention to brand consistency while being willing to test new creative directions.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)

Apply once. Then go straight to the hiring manager.

After you apply, unlock the direct contact details of the people who actually make the call. A quick follow-up makes you 5x more likely to land an interview.
