Job description

This is a remote position.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist with strong hands-on experience in ActiveCampaign to manage and optimize our marketing operations, including contact management, list and segment creation, email campaigns, forms, automations, and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable working closely with Marketing, Content, Sales, and other teams to ensure campaigns are properly configured, executed, tracked, and optimized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation and administration of ActiveCampaign.
  • Create and maintain contact lists, segments, tags, custom fields, and audience structures.
  • Build, configure, test, and launch email marketing campaigns.
  • Create and manage forms, subscription forms, and lead-capture processes.
  • Build and maintain automations and customer journeys based on business requirements.
  • Configure campaign targeting, scheduling, personalization, and audience rules.
  • Perform QA and testing of campaigns, forms, links, automations, and email content before launch.
  • Monitor campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, engagement, conversions, and other KPIs.
  • Create regular marketing performance reports and dashboards and provide insights based on campaign data.
  • Maintain data quality and ensure appropriate contact segmentation and database hygiene.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, segmentation, automation, and overall marketing processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to campaigns, forms, automations, lists, and contact data.
  • Work with Marketing and Content teams to translate campaign requirements into ActiveCampaign configurations.
  • Ensure campaigns follow internal processes and applicable email marketing, consent, and data-privacy requirements.
  • Document campaign setups, automations, processes, and operational procedures.


Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with ActiveCampaign or a similar marketing automation/CRM platform.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing and marketing automation.
  • Experience with audience segmentation, lists, tags, forms, and automations.
  • Experience creating and interpreting marketing reports and campaign analytics.
  • Strong attention to detail and QA mindset.
  • Good understanding of email campaign metrics and optimization.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and translate business requirements into platform configurations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
