The Impact You Will Make

As a Lifecycle Automation Specialist, you will help bring Lifecycle Marketing strategies to life by building and supporting reliable, scalable lifecycle automation solutions. Working within established implementation patterns and operational standards, you will configure, test, deploy, and optimize automation experiences that help students receive timely, personalized engagement throughout their educational journey.

Partnering with Lifecycle Automation Managers, Senior Automation Specialists, Automation Enablement, Lifecycle Marketing, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the successful implementation of lifecycle automation while continuously building your technical expertise and understanding of customer journey orchestration.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Build, configure, test, and deploy lifecycle automation solutions using established implementation patterns, operational standards, and quality assurance practices.
  • Configure audiences, automation workflows, personalization, and engagement logic in accordance with approved solution designs and established implementation practices.
  • Perform quality assurance testing to validate automation functionality, data accuracy, personalization, and customer experience prior to production deployment.
  • Monitor automation performance, identify execution issues, troubleshoot routine implementation challenges, and escalate complex issues when appropriate.
  • Partner with Senior Automation Specialists and Automation Managers to implement lifecycle automation solutions while developing technical expertise in automation design and orchestration.
  • Collaborate with Automation Enablement to support production readiness, validate implementation requirements, and ensure solutions align with established platform standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of automation solutions, implementation activities, testing results, and operational updates.
  • Identify implementation improvements to strengthen automation quality and execution consistency.

  • Lifecycle automation solutions are implemented accurately, reliably, and in alignment with established implementation standards.
  • Implementation issues are identified, resolved, or escalated appropriately before impacting production.
  • Technical proficiency continues to grow through successful implementation of increasingly independent lifecycle automation work.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

  • Typically 1+ years of experience supporting CRM, marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, campaign operations, or marketing technology platforms.
  • Experience configuring or supporting marketing automation, customer engagement, or CRM solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • Understanding of customer journey concepts, automation workflows, segmentation, testing, and quality assurance principles.
  • Exposure to email, SMS, or multi-channel customer engagement technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or comparable enterprise marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL, AMPscript, or other marketing technology scripting languages.
