Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an entry level Environmental Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work on complex environmental remediation projects and truly help to make the world a safer place.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performs various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering or equivalent program, and available data in the related field.
  • May assist in leading field teams by planning, organizing, and directing the work in the field under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Provides technical guidance to lower level Scientists and Geologists, including reviewing geologic analyses, assessments, interpretations, and other types of reports.
  • Prepares or assists in preparing fundamental engineering computations, design reports, documents associated with field work, sampling and reporting, and engineering assessments
  • May work on site investigation projects of varying size.
  • Communicates daily field operations and project information to the Project Manager/Senior Engineer. Can create presentations, review and edit project deliverables and maintain organized documentation of work on given project directory.
  • Prepares and presents technical papers and reports.  May review and assist in compiling technical reports and documents prepared by others

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 0+ years of related work experience.

  • Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with an Environmental concentration preferred

  • Working knowledge of software packages typically associated with the discipline is required

  • A familiarity with environmental rules and regulations is preferred
