Job description

Business Development Manager (Embedded or Display Tech focused)

Remote, UK-Based | Travel Across Europe as required

Are you passionate about embedded technology and ready to take your business development career to the next level?

Braemac, a dynamic force in the component distribution and embedded/display design sector, is looking for a Business Development Manager (Embedded or Display) to help us grow our value-added services and strengthen our presence across the EMEA region.

This is a remote role based in the UK, with regular travel across Europe. You will collaborate with sales teams and strategic suppliers to identify new opportunities, drive revenue growth, and support innovative embedded solutions across a diverse customer base.

What You’ll Do

  • Driving new business development in embedded/display technology and services across EMEA.
  • Shaping customer segment strategies and identifying high-potential markets and revenue streams.
  • Partnering with suppliers and internal teams to promote and grow our value-added services offering.
  • Analysing market trends and customer needs to create competitive strategies.
  • Leading initiatives to position Braemac as the partner of choice in the embedded space.
  • Supporting training and development efforts to build internal knowledge of embedded tech applications.
  • Tracking pipeline opportunities, customer visits, and sales data to support forecasts and strategic planning.

About You

  • Proven experience in embedded/display technology sales or business development, ideally in a distributor or design-led environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the embedded ecosystem – including processors, boards, modules, firmware, and supporting solutions.
  • Confidence in building relationships with both customers and suppliers at a technical and commercial level.
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote role while collaborating across multiple time zones and functions.
  • Strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong communication skills.
  • A degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is essential; equivalent experience in embedded systems may also be considered.

What You Will Receive

  • Competitive Salary, Incentive and Car Allowance.
  • 25 days' annual leave, plus statutory bank holidays.  Increasing with service.
  • Pension – 5% Employee, 3% Employer contributions.
  • Private Medical Insurance.
  • ComPsych – Access to EAP and online resources for you and your family, to support your health and wellbeing.

The Selection Process

  • Online Thomas Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) behavioural assessment. This quick, 8-minute online exercise looks at your natural communication and working style.
  • At least two interviews with a range of stakeholders – to provide an opportunity for you to get to know us, whilst we learn about your skills and experience too.
  • The selection process may include an opportunity to present a brief that demonstrates your skills and experience.
