Job description

Description

Vanco Faith is the newly combined powerhouse behind how churches across the country manage ministry and move money, bringing together Vanco Payments, the payments platform already trusted by tens of thousands of congregations, and ACS Technologies (ACST), the church management software (ChMS) long relied on by ministries to run their day-to-day operations.

Vanco is seeking a Customer Account Executive (CAE) to drive expansion revenue across a dedicated territory of existing Vanco customers. This is a pure expansion-selling role — you own a defined territory and a data-driven, quarterly-refreshed list of accounts with real cross-sell opportunity (adding our Church Management System to a Payments-only customer, or adding Payments to a ChMS-only customer). You are responsible for closing that opportunity, not for day-to-day account health or renewals, which are owned by our CSM team. You'll work closely with CSMs for warm introductions and account context, but the number is yours. Some travel may be expected depending on territory geography.

What You'll Do:

• Own a named territory of customer accounts, prioritizing a data-driven, quarterly-refreshed list of accounts flagged with meaningful cross-sell opportunity

• Meet or exceed an annual expansion revenue quota for your territory

• Run a consultative, needs-based sales process from qualification through close, including discovery, proposal, and negotiation

• Partner with CSMs assigned to the same accounts for warm handoffs, account context, and coordinated outreach — you sell, they retain

• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking for your territory

• Build and maintain a strong understanding of Vanco's full product suite (Payments, ChMS/Realm, and add-on modules) to identify and position the right fit

• Represent the voice of the customer back to Product and Marketing on what's driving — or blocking — cross-sell decisions

• Collaborate with the broader CAE team on best practices, competitive positioning, and territory strategy

Requirements

 What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years in a quota-carrying sales role, ideally account-based/expansion selling into an existing customer base

• Experience selling into faith-based, nonprofit, education, or community organizations

• Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets

• Experience managing a multi-account territory or book of business

• Comfort with a consultative sales process involving multiple stakeholders (pastors, church administrators, finance staff)

• CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) and forecasting discipline

• Strong discovery and needs-based selling skills

• Ability to build trust quickly with existing customers without an established personal relationship

• Comfortable working from a data-driven target list rather than cold prospecting

• Clear, organized pipeline management and forecasting habits

• Collaborative mindset — success depends on working well with CSMs, not around them

• Resilience and self-direction; a territory-based role requires proactive prioritization

Why You'll Want to Work Here:

  • Mission-driven organization making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve
  • Work alongside small, collaborative teams where your ideas influence both business outcomes and company culture
  • Grow your career through ongoing professional development and a strong commitment to internal promotion
  • Enjoy 100% employer-paid medical coverage through our HSA or Base Plan, plus employer-paid dental, life, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance.
  • Access additional voluntary benefits including vision, accident, critical illness, and supplemental life & AD&D coverage.
  • Recharge with 9 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, and 4 weeks of PTO.
  • Receive 8 weeks of paid parental leave after six months of employment.
  • Give back with paid volunteer time off.
  • Build your financial future with a 401(k) plan and employer match.

The annual starting base pay for this position typically starts between $60,000 - $75,000, not including quarterly incentive compensation.  Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, location, and equity with internal team members. Total compensation for this position includes an annual performance bonus.

For remote positions, employees must reside in one of the following locations: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NH, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV.  All other states are not in consideration for this role at this time.

Vanco is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
