What You’ll Accomplish

• Drive Technical Excellence: You will lead onsite electrical activities, overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of both legacy systems and our latest excitation and LCI technology.
• Solve Critical Challenges: Using your deep analytical skills, you will diagnose complex technical issues, perform software modifications, and adjust control constants to optimize system performance for gas and steam turbines.
• Lead Onsite Operations: You will act as the primary technical point of contact for plant owners and utility operators, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within quality standards.
• Mentor & Consult: You will provide expert advisory services on our packaged products, support business development initiatives, and mentor team members to build collective field capability.
• Champion Safety: You will foster a "Safety-First" culture, ensuring all site activities strictly adhere to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures.

What You’ll Bring

• Technical Foundation: Substantive experience in power plant maintenance or turbine generator commissioning, with a strong understanding of industrial control systems and power electronics.
• System Mastery: You possess a working knowledge of electrical control systems—familiarity with GE Excitation and starter systems (such as EX2100e or LS2100e) is highly valued.
• Operational Readiness: You are comfortable reading and interpreting complex control documentation, P&IDs, and PLC logic to troubleshoot critical system issues.
• Communication & Influence: You are able to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, from onsite technicians to senior management.
• Flexibility & Mobility: You thrive in dynamic environments and are willing to travel extensively (approximately 70%) to support diverse project sites, including international or offshore environments.
• Fluency: You are proficient in English; proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or French is highly valued to support our regional customer base effectively.

Le rôle Êtes-vous prêt à diriger des projets complexes sur des systèmes électriques à travers l'Europe ? En tant qu’Ingénieur de Service Terrain Principal (Lead Field Services Engineer) spécialisé dans les systèmes d’excitation électrique et les convertisseurs de charge commutée (LCI), vous agirez en tant qu’autorité technique au sein de notre équipe « Gas Power Software Control Solutions ». Vous serez responsable du cycle complet : mise en service, maintenance et optimisation des systèmes critiques d'excitation et des démarreurs LCI. Dans ce rôle, vous faites le lien entre les technologies de contrôle numérique avancées et les équipements physiques de production d'énergie, garantissant ainsi que les actifs de nos clients fonctionnent en toute sécurité, de manière fiable et à leur performance optimale. 

Vos missions principales 

• Piloter l’excellence technique : Vous dirigerez les activités électriques sur site, supervisant l’installation, la mise en service et la maintenance des systèmes existants ainsi que de nos dernières technologies d'excitation et LCI. 

• Résoudre les défis critiques : Grâce à vos solides compétences analytiques, vous diagnostiquerez des problèmes techniques complexes, effectuerez des modifications logicielles et ajusterez les constantes de contrôle pour optimiser la performance des turbines à gaz et à vapeur. 

• Diriger les opérations sur site : Vous serez l'interlocuteur technique principal pour les propriétaires de centrales et les exploitants de services publics, coordonnant les équipes pluridisciplinaires, gérant les ressources et garantissant le respect des délais et des standards de qualité. 

• Conseiller et mentorat : Vous fournirez des services de conseil experts sur nos produits, soutiendrez les initiatives de développement commercial et assurerez le mentorat des membres de l'équipe pour renforcer nos compétences collectives sur le terrain. 

• Promouvoir la sécurité : Vous cultiverez une culture « Sécurité d’abord » (Safety-First), en veillant à ce que toutes les activités sur site respectent strictement les politiques et procédures environnementales, de santé et de sécurité (EHS). 

Votre profil 

• Fondation technique : Expérience significative dans la maintenance de centrales électriques ou la mise en service de générateurs de turbines, avec une compréhension approfondie des systèmes de contrôle industriel et de l’électronique de puissance. 

• Maîtrise des systèmes : Vous possédez une connaissance pratique des systèmes de contrôle électrique ; une familiarité avec les systèmes d’excitation et de démarrage GE (tels que EX2100e ou LS2100e) est fortement valorisée. 

• Capacités opérationnelles : Vous savez lire et interpréter des documentations de contrôle complexes, des schémas P&ID et la logique API (PLC) pour résoudre les problèmes critiques des systèmes.

Fascia retributive: Tra  48,100.00 EUR - 72,100.00 EUR lordi annui. La retribuzione specifica offerta terrà conto dell'istruzione, delle qualifiche, dell'esperienza e delle competenze del candidato.

The pay range for this position: Between 48,100.00 EUR  and 72,100.00 EUR gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidate’s education, qualifications, experience and skill set.

Below, we indicate the relevant provisions of the remuneration regulations applicable at the Employer. The available benefits based on the currently effective CBA and company policies include the following:

Stipendio Base: La retribuzione seguirà le tabelle salariali previste dal CCNL di categoria Metalmeccanico Industria

Base salary: The remuneration is established according to the Metalworking CBA salary scale, which defines job groups and minimum salary levels.

Pensione Integrativa (Cometa): Tutti i livelli sono eligibili, ad eccezione dei dirigenti.
Contributo del datore di lavoro: 2% (2,2% se under 35). Contributo del dipendente: 1,2%. Base di calcolo: retribuzione mensile lorda.

Pension Fund (Cometa): All levels are eligible, except executives (dirigenti).
Employer Contribution: 2% (2.2% if under 35). Employee Contribution: 1.2%. Base: monthly gross salary.
