Job description

At Joko, our mission is to we help consumers save time and money when shopping online or in-store.

Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 105 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 6 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko.

From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts, we've kept expanding our products to make shopping smarter. Today, Joko is an AI shopping app: with Juno, our shopping assistant, users can find the right product at the best price in only a few seconds, with recommendations that get sharper the more they use it.

Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US.

It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!

πŸ“± Our Product Team

Led by Fabien, our VP Product, Joko's Product team groups the passionate individuals behind our users' delight! From brainstorming to development to launch, the Product team's main mission is to turn ideas into reality by working hand-in-hand with the Engineering, Design, and Business teams.

Joko is organized into four product tribes, each owning a key dimension of the company's value:

  • Business lines owns the current core value proposition, covering online shopping, in-store experiences, and gift cards, each run as a dedicated team.

  • Scale focuses on growing and amplifying this value through growth, international expansion, and shared core user experiences across the app.

  • Juno builds the next value proposition: an AI shopping assistant that finds the right product at the best price in seconds, backed by a universal catalog of what merchants actually sell.

  • AI Platform helps Joko become a state-of-the-art AI company from the inside, owning the internal agent infrastructure, automation layer, internal tools, infrastructure, compliance, security and operational scalability.

⚑ The AI Platform tribe

AI Platform's mission is to turn Joko into a state-of-the-art AI company from the inside. The tribe builds the internal agent infrastructure that will let every team work faster, automate complex workflows, and create new 0-to-1 features with AI.

Its flagship product is Joker, Joko's internal AI teammate. Already live in Slack, Notion and Linear, Joker can understand context, use tools, act across systems, and take real work from idea to execution. The ambition is not just to automate repetitive tasks, but to make agents a new production layer for how Joko builds and operates.

For this to work at company scale, AI Platform also owns the backbone underneath: Gotham, the identity and permission layer that lets agents act with exactly the access of the person they work for; plus the internal tools, infrastructure, compliance, security, reliability and server-cost foundations that keep Joko fast, safe and scalable.

The tribe's users are the teams inside Joko. Its goal is simple: help them run extremely efficient processes, remove operational bottlenecks, and give the company the leverage it needs to scale in the coming years.

🎯 What you will do

As Lead Product Manager for the Platform tribe, your mission is to make Joko's own machine faster, safer and increasingly agentic. You will report to Fabien, our VP Product, own the tribe's roadmap end to end, and lead the Product Managers on its task forces as the team grows. The tribe is being staffed right now, so expect to be hands-on from day one on scopes you own personally, and to build the function as the team grows.

  • Set the tribe's strategy: You will decide what Platform builds, in what order, and what it stops doing. You will map what teams across the company do today in our internal tools, what it costs them and what they need next, then turn that into a roadmap you can defend in front of leadership. This intake runs permanently, as a standing part of the job.

  • Own Joker and Gotham: These are the tribe's most strategic bets and you will drive them personally. Taking Joker from what it is today to a production-grade agent platform, and shipping Gotham's permission model so agents never hold more access than the person they act for, is the highest-leverage work in your scope.

  • Build the automation layer: The approach is capability first: expose an action as a scoped tool, write the instructions an agent needs to use it well, then let the agent run the job. Interfaces come only where they earn their place, and deciding what still deserves a screen is a genuinely new kind of product judgment.

  • Retire what should not exist: Part of the mandate is subtractive: migrating off tools that have outlived their purpose and progressively switching off legacy systems, without breaking the teams that depend on them every day.

  • Own security, compliance and reliability: Identity and access, data retention and minimization, log centralization, audit, test coverage. The requirement often comes from Legal or an auditor, and still has to be shaped into something people will actually adopt.

  • Lead and grow the team: You will hire, mentor and lead the Product Managers who own the tribe's task forces, set the bar on discovery and delivery, and be the person the tribe's engineers and designers look to for product direction.

  • Be the interface for the whole company: You will be the point of contact for Engineering, Ops, Finance, Legal, Data and Care, structuring their demands and arbitrating between them. You will define success in time saved, cost removed, risk reduced and adoption by internal teams, and report on it in those terms.

πŸ‘€ Who we're looking for

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of experience in Product, including experience leading or mentoring other Product Managers. A background on internal tools, back-office products, APIs, platforms or complex B2B products is a strong plus.

  • AI fluency, hands-on: This scope is being rebuilt around agents, so this criterion carries the most weight. You use AI tools daily in your own work, you understand what agents are actually good and bad at, and you have opinions about where automation belongs and where a human interface still earns its place.

  • Product for teams mindset: You are comfortable building for internal users, where the bar is efficiency, robustness and adoption rather than polish. Problems nobody outside the company will ever see still energise you. If what drives you is craft on a consumer surface seen by millions, this scope will frustrate you.

  • Strong technical appetite: You are curious and hands-on with infrastructure, identity, permissions, reliability, security, compliance and data architecture. Coding is not required, but you need to understand how things work.

  • Management: You have a proven track record in people management. You know how to grow Product Managers, set a high bar for rigor, and give direction without taking every decision yourself.

  • Stakeholder leadership: You are excellent at alignment, prioritization and saying no. You can navigate many dependencies, arbitrate between senior stakeholders, and make trade-offs explicit.

  • Analytical & pragmatic: You are data-driven, impact-oriented, and you go straight for the real operational problem.

  • Communication: You are a clear, structured communicator, able to translate complex technical topics into business impact for the exec team.

  • Location: Based in France or Spain.

  • Languages: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is a plus, but it is optional.

  • Mindset: You are ownership-driven, resilient, and motivated by solving hard, unglamorous but high-impact problems that make the whole company better. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges, you welcome feedback and you love constantly learning and getting better.
