Aufgabenspektrum

Du möchtest Deine Kenntnisse im Bereich Microsoft SQL Server vertiefen und praktische Erfahrung in der Administration komplexer Datenbankumgebungen sammeln?
Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams suchen wir einen Junior MS SQL Administrator (m/w/d).
Du sorgst gemeinsam mit erfahrenen Kolleginnen und Kollegen für einen stabilen und sicheren Betrieb von SQL Server-Umgebungen unserer Kunden.

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Administration und Support von Microsoft SQL Server-Umgebungen bestehend aus MS SQL Server Clustern und VMs.
  • 2nd- und 3rd-Level-Support über ein Ticketsystem des Kunden.
  • Analyse und Behebung von Störungen der Datenbanken in Zusammenarbeit mit Teams des Kunden.
  • Kundenanfragen bearbeitest Du innerhalb der vorgesehenen Zeit und dokumentierst Tätigkeiten im Ticketsystem und mit Dokumentationstools verständlich und zuverlässig.
  • Zusammenarbeit mit Ansprechpartnern und Teams des Kunden im täglichen Betrieb und zur Klärung von Anforderungen.
  • Durchführung von Backups und Wiederherstellungen, wobei die meisten Backups durch die Kundenlösung automatisch erstellt werden.
  • Durchführung von SQL Server-Installationen unter Verwendung von Automatisierung.
  • Überprüfung der Konfigurationen bzgl. der Einhaltung von Vorgaben und Standards.
  • Aktualisierung von Datenbanken für die Qualitätssicherung und Tests der Kunden, v.a. über das Einspielen von Backups produktiver Systeme.
  • Durchführung von Migrationen und Abbauten von Systemen.    

Erfahrungen

Das bringst Du mit:

  • Erste praktische Erfahrung im Betrieb und bei Störungsbehebungen, idealerweise auf aktuellen SQL Server-Versionen.
  • Grundlegende SQL-Abfrage-Kenntnisse.
  • Vorgaben, Prozesse und Kundenwünsche setzt Du zuverlässig und exakt um.
  • Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Backup/Restore, Monitoring und Troubleshooting sind wünschenswert.
  • Ebenso Kenntnisse im Bereich PowerShell/Automatisierung.
  • Dich zeichnet eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise beim täglichen Betrieb und bei der Fehlersuche aus.
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
  • Bereitschaft zur Teilnahme an Rufbereitschaften, die im Team wochenweise gewechselt werden.
Von Vorteil sind:
  • Erste Erfahrungen mit Cluster-, Hochverfügbarkeits- oder Failover-Umgebungen.
  • Ein Grundverständnis für Performanceoptimierungen beim SQL Server und generell in Datenbanken, z.B. Indexerstellung.
  • Erfahrungen in Cloudumgebungen.
  • Ggf. hast Du bereits mit Reportingtools wie PowerBI gearbeitet.
