Job description

About Us

Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Our mission is to improve people’s health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We’re an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive CapitalIndex VenturesJ.P. Morgan Growth Equity PartnersMaverick VenturesY CombinatorBoxGroupAtomicoDaybreak, and Operator Partners.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we’re solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our growing finance team and own revenue accounting for our scaling business. This is a growth-stage accounting role — you will build scalable processes and own revenue accounting processes as the company grows.

Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Senior Lead, you will be a cornerstone of the monthly close — preparing journal entries, owning reconciliations, driving efficiencies, and building audit-ready workpapers. You closely will be partnering with our Revenue Cycle Management team to drive accuracy in our financials and ensure audit readiness.

We want someone who is strong in data analysis, process transformation, and genuinely curious about automation. You'll be expected to dig into our workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose and implement improvements.

This role is full-time and located at Nourish’s NYC office in the heart of Gramercy, with remote flexibility. Occasional travel expected (e.g. to conferences, quarterly team meetings, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare journal entries and detailed revenue-related balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation
  • Analyze new and evolving revenue arrangements as they arise, researching relevant guidance and proposing a recommended accounting treatment
  • Maintain and improve audit-ready workpapers and supporting schedules, building on the foundation established in our first audit
  • Use data analysis to investigate revenue variances, validate reconciliations, and catch discrepancies before they become problems
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies or gaps in revenue accounting and billing workflows and own or partner on implementing improvements
  • Bring curiosity and initiative to AI and automation — evaluate tools, run experiments, build AI workflows to automate manual/repeatable work, and implement solutions that make the team faster without sacrificing accuracy
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate financial data
  • Support special projects such as ERP implementation of new revenue streams, GAAP conversion, new entity consolidation, and automation initiatives

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • You have 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with previous public accounting experience (CPA preferred)
  • You have a strong knowledge of US GAAP, month-end close, and audit processes (ASC 606 experience preferred)
  • You are comfortable with data analysis to identify anomalies and validate numbers (SQL experience preferred), and you understand system workflows to identify where gaps may occur
  • You are curious about AI and automation and have a track record of finding and implementing workflow improvements
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience working with modern accounting systems and tools (e.g., Campfire, QuickBooks, NetSuite) is a plus
  • Experience in healthcare, health-tech, or telehealth a plus
