XTN-E5E8864 | TECHNICAL REVENUE ACCOUNTANT

We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative Revenue Accountant, who has strong experience with core Accounting practices. You will partner with Accounting leadership and partners to support the Revenue Accounting, Revenue Recognition and Contract Review Process. The ideal candidate will exhibit superior analytical abilities, have prior experience working with other Accounting teams at high-growth companies, and possess strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.

• Serve as a subject matter expert as it pertains to company revenue recognition policies. Review contracts to ensure validity and accuracy. 
• Prepare journal entries to ensure compliance with GAAP accounting under ASC 606, accruals, LT deferred revenue reclasses. 
• Assist with timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close and financial statement delivery. 
• Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of internal and external accounting and operating policies, procedures and process improvements for general accounting functions. 
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX procedures, US GAAP and local statutory regulations (as applicable) 
• Reviewing the posted invoice for appropriateness and segregation of duties checks. Ensure that revenue is recognized in the proper periods and is within GAAP guidance. 
• Perform month-end revenue related Journal entries. 
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner. 
• Prepare audit support for team & ensure processes are SOX compliant.

• Bachelor's Degree in any Accounting related courses. 
• Strong knowledge and background with key accounting concepts, GAAP (ASC 606), SOX controls. 
• 3+ years of accounting experience/similar to the role. 
• Nice to have NetSuite experience. 
• Nice to have Zuora Revenue and Billing experience. 
• Nice to have CPA License. 
• Intermediate Excel skills 
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and take ownership of work Detail oriented: able to work with large volumes of data with speed and accuracy. Ability to self-check work 
• Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs Excellent communication skills, both oral and written 
• Time management to ensure timely completion of given tasks with accuracy
