Role: Strategic Cloud Engineer (GCP Infrastructure)

• Working Hours: 9h00 to 18h00 (BRT)
• Language: Fluent English is mandatory and Advanced Spanish is preferred
About the Position
We are seeking a Strategic Cloud Engineer with solid experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to work on digital transformation, infrastructure modernization, and cloud migration projects in large enterprise environments.
The professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and highly available environments, supporting clients throughout their migration and technology modernization journeys.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement secure and scalable architectures on GCP.
• Define and implement Landing Zones and infrastructure foundations using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Work with GKE, GCE, GCVE, and GCS services.
• Design networking solutions using VPC, Cloud Firewall, Cloud Router, Interconnect, VPN, and IP subnets.
• Implement and administer IAM.
• Implement and administer Logging & Monitoring solutions.
• Implement and administer cloud resource management.
• Apply FinOps and cost optimization practices.
• Implement and administer CI/CD processes.
• Lead or support Data Center migrations to GCP.
• Act as a technical consultant, connecting business needs to cloud solutions.
• Use AI and AI agents to accelerate and automate migration and modernization projects.
• Promote cloud governance, security, and architecture practices.
Mandatory Requirements
• At least 6 years of experience designing and implementing solutions on GCP
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Solid experience with DevOps and CI/CD
• Solid experience with enterprise cloud solutions
• Experience in Professional Services and/or Technical Consulting
• Programming experience using Python, Java, Go, C, or C++
• Project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced experience with GKE, GCE, GCVE, and GCS
• In-depth knowledge of Landing Zones and Infrastructure Foundations
• Strong experience with highly available networks using VPC, Cloud Firewall, Interconnect, and VPN
• Expertise in IAM, observability, resource management, FinOps, and enterprise security
• Experience with Data Center Exit programs and large-scale public cloud migrations
• Experience using AI and AI agents to automate and accelerate migration and modernization projects
• At least one of the following certifications: Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience, as a minimum qualification
