Job description

Title: Senior Associate — Insurance Defense Litigation
Location: New York, NY (remote; must be commutable to NY courts)
Salary: $200,000 to $225,000 / year

About Our Client

Our client is a minority-owned insurance defense boutique that punches well above its weight in the New York litigation market. They handle premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, professional negligence, construction accidents, and Labor Law matters for property owners, insurers, and municipalities across the state. What sets them apart is how they run their practice. Attorneys here carry real autonomy — you manage your own files from inception through resolution without a partner breathing over your shoulder. The firm is intentional about growth, and senior associates are expected to mentor junior attorneys and help shape how the practice evolves. If you have spent years developing skill inside a large defense firm and want to do meaningful work without the politics, this is the right move. They are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the clients they serve, and that value runs through how they hire, promote, and lead.
