What you will do:   


Trane Technologies’ early career student program internships provide current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our 12-week summer internship opportunities offer candidates working toward their Bachelor's in Analytics Focused majors’ exposure to variety projects which will include various ways to apply your education in solving real world problems.

This position is eligible for a Hybrid or Onsite work schedule and will be based out of one of our many locations across North America. Flexible work from home options available.


What you will bring: 

We are looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. A successful candidate will exhibit the following:

  • Collaborates with others on the analytics team to develop an understanding of the data, the business, and technical approaches. Understand data sets essential to developing models, visualizations, reports, and insights.
  • Views problems as opportunities and can adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances.
  • Proactively seeks new information, skills, and experiences, capitalizing on learning opportunities.
  • Works effectively with others to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment.
  • Motivated to leverage key learnings and experiences to grow your own career while contributing to the growth of Trane Technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage analytical tools to extract and analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights to the business.
  • Coursework or experience utilizing some or all of the following: Python, R, SQL, Dataiku, Tableau, or other visualization software, cloud based tools like BigQuery, Redshift.
  • Willing to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States
  • Pursuing a BS/BA in Analytics related field such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, or similar with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0 and an interest in a career in Analytics or AI/Data Science. 
  • Minimum Work Experience: At least one internship or work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
  • U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$22.50 - $30.00
