The Account Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for proactively approaching potential facilities and KOLs for permanent growth through activities with KOLs, CCLs and large hospitals, and making progress and creating competitive Leica Total Solution proposals. In addition, the objective is to improve the presence of Leica solutions for own country.

This position is part of the Commercial team located in Vietnam and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Commercial Team and report to the Commercial Leader, Vietnam responsible for driving significant revenue and profit growth through effective management of sales & applications activities in Vietnam . In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build relationships with CCL and achieve sales targets
  • Define roles and responsibilities with Area Sales to lead and collaborate on target facilities
  • Work with marketing to build relationships with KOLs nationwide and contribute to the discovery of the next generation of KOLs
  • Understand customer needs and trends by building relationships with major CCLs and educate them on LBS's medium- to long-term strategies
  • Develop joint purchasing and common proposals for single facilities but may contribute to group hospitals and satellites

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor’s Degree at the very minimum, Advanced Science Degree preferred
  • Minimum 8-10 years of previous sales experience in a leading medical device company with instrumentation and consumables
  • Demonstrated track record for meeting sales objectives with year over year results and previous experience building strategic relationships in key accounts
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English & Vietnamese
  • Strong capability to open new accounts

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Proven ability to ‘system’ and ‘circular’ sell within accounts
  • Solid understanding on selling medical capital equipment and consumables
  • Demonstrated functional experience in areas such as strategic selling
