Now we’re looking for a Finance Accountant to join our passionate team and help us shape the future of food and beverages. You will be based in Roeselare, Belgium and report to the local Finance manager and be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe.

Your role in the blend

At Paulig, we are looking for an Finance Accountant to support our finance operations in Belgium and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes across multiple entities within the Paulig Group.

In this role, you will:

·        Process and record invoices for goods and services.

·        Ensure accurate supplier administration.

·        Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities for several Paulig Group entities.

·        Prepare tax and other declarations, including VAT, corporate income tax and Intrastat reporting.

·        Support the annual audit process.

·        Contribute to the optimization of financial processes and support the implementation of new financial systems and tools.

Your key ingredients

To succeed in this role, you likely have:

·        A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience

·        A structured way of working and strong attention to detail

·        A hands-on mindset and the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects

·        Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French is considered an asset.

·        Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or M3.
