Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location: This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Orlando, FL. While our team primarily works from the office, we understand that occasional work from home may be necessary when circumstances require it.

Note: Must be Florida-barred and have 5+ years of experience as a civil trial attorney, with substantial business, corporate, or commercial litigation experience and demonstrated courtroom experience in state and/or federal court.

Job Description

  • Manage a full caseload of civil, corporate, and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Represent clients in state and federal courts, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct sophisticated legal research and apply statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedent to active matters.
  • Develop and execute effective litigation strategies tailored to each client's objectives.
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and relevant agencies throughout the litigation process.
  • Independently manage deadlines, case strategy, workload, and required billable hours.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and develop a book of business.

Qualifications

  • Florida Bar admission in good standing.
  • 5+ years of civil trial attorney experience.
  • Strong business, corporate, or commercial litigation background.
  • Demonstrated courtroom and litigation experience.
  • Experience handling matters in both state and federal court strongly preferred.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a full caseload and prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Self-starter with sound judgment and a client-focused approach.
  • Existing book of business is preferred, but not required.
