In this role, you'll be client facing to gain a deep understanding of their business objectives and pain points. Your goal will be to identify, conceptualize, and implement innovative solutions that enhance user engagement, satisfaction, and ongoing value.

As a Senior Consultant at BlastX, you will lead the execution of complex marketing technology projects, manage client relationships, and act as a strategic advisor. You will drive project success by ensuring the quality of deliverables, mentoring junior team members, and contributing thought leadership to the firm and the industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• You will take ownership of high-value client engagements, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. 
• Lead platform and architecture audits, addressing areas such as scalability, privacy compliance, and multi-channel data integration. 
• Oversee the implementation of analytics tools (e.g., Adobe CJA, Amplitude, GA4) to measure performance across digital touchpoints and campaigns. 
• Configure and optimize tag management systems (e.g., Adobe Tags, Tealium IQ, GTM) for accurate data tracking and reporting. 
• Manage customer data platform (CDP) integrations, ensuring seamless activation of centralized customer data for personalization and segmentation. 
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategic roadmaps that might include initiatives such as the implementation of AI-powered recommendation engines for dynamic, real-time personalization or advanced attribution models. 
• Author detailed scopes of work, resource work plans, and technical specifications for large-scale projects. 
• Ensure alignment with the scope of work outlined in client contracts by proactively managing deliverables, identifying potential blockers, communicating them to stakeholders, and leading efforts to resolve issues while maintaining client expectations. 
• Review and validate deliverables, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and alignment with client expectations. 
• Mentor junior engineering team members by reviewing their work, providing constructive feedback, and offering guidance on best practices in analytics implementation and integration projects. 
• Deliver training sessions for client teams on topics such as audience segmentation, predictive analytics, and real-time personalization. 
• Implement innovative engineering practice optimizations, such as leveraging automated QA or data validation tools, to enhance efficiency and elevate the quality of all client engagements. 
• Contribute thought leadership through blog posts, webinars, or case studies on innovative topics, such as generative AI for content testing or AI-driven customer retention strategies. 
• Identify emerging trends like machine learning for predictive analytics or AI-powered customer journey mapping and recommend their integration into client solutions.  

Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
• 6+ years of experience in MarTech consulting, analytics, or related fields, including leadership of complex projects and managing client relationships at a strategic level. 
• Expertise in analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Adobe CJA, Amplitude, and GA4 for creating insights-driven reports and dashboards. 
• Proficiency in configuring tag management systems such as Adobe Tags (Launch), Tealium IQ, or Google Tag Manager. 
• Experience with customer data platforms (e.g., Adobe RT-CDP, Tealium AudienceStream, Hightouch) and their integrations. 
• Advanced experience designing and implementing integrations between marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, BigCommerce) with analytics tools to enable multi-channel attribution, audience segmentation, and real-time campaign optimization. 
• Advanced JavaScript expertise for designing scalable tracking architectures, building dynamic data layers, and integrating custom analytics solutions across platforms. 
• Experience with server-side implementation approaches. 
• Proven ability to create and oversee comprehensive project documentation, including scopes of work, detailed estimates, and resource allocation plans for complex, multi-phase projects. 
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding junior team members to achieve project goals. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for aligning technical solutions with strategic business objectives. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting insights and collaborating with clients. 
• Awareness of emerging trends like AI-driven marketing automation or ML-based dynamic content personalization, with the ability to recommend practical applications.

This is a full-time remote opportunity. Travel up to 5% for business purposes, determined by client requests or industry events.

This role is fully remote for US-based teammates only. We do ask that you work from your home location. Because of the nature of our work and client commitments, this is not a fit for digital nomads.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $111,538.00 - $165,000.00 USD annually DOE
