Account Manager - Purview

Location: Remote

Reports To: VP of Operations - Purview

About HealthMark Group & Purview

HealthMark Group is a leading provider of health IT solutions for healthcare providers across the country. By leveraging technology to reimagine the business of healthcare, HealthMark transforms administrative processes into seamless digital solutions. From HealthMark's proprietary MedRelease platform for Release of Information, the company is pioneering an efficient, compliant, and patient-centric approach to support the entire spectrum of the patient information journey. HealthMark Group was founded in 2006 with corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX and has been named to both the Dallas 100 and the Inc. 5000 for multiple years in a row as one of the fastest-growing companies in the region and in the country.

Purview is a dedicated business unit within HealthMark that promotes software-driven healthcare committed to increasing health equity and improving patient outcomes by enabling secure, flexible, and scalable access to medical images and records. Its suite of products, including Purview Image, Expert View, and Horos, empowers physicians, radiologists, veterinarians, attorneys, researchers, and other professionals around the world to view, share, and analyze medical imaging data.

We are seeking a relationship-driven, growth-minded Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of Purview clients. This person will be the trusted point of contact for Expert View and Purview Image customers, ensuring they are satisfied and successful while also identifying and closing opportunities to expand their use of Purview's solutions.

Position Summary

The Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring Purview clients remain loyal, satisfied, and engaged, while also driving incremental revenue growth from within the existing client base. This person is responsible for managing a portfolio of small-to-medium enterprise subspecialist clients as well as hospitals, law firms, veterinary practices, and research facilities — that rely on Expert View and Purview Image to view, share, and analyze medical imaging data.

The Account Manager represents the client's voice within HealthMark, acting as a liaison between clients and cross-functional teams to ensure successful service delivery and timely resolution of issues. At the same time, the Account Manager proactively “farms” the account base — identifying usage patterns, unmet needs, and growth opportunities — to expand revenue through upsells, additional licenses, new locations, and complementary products.

This role will be measured by client retention and satisfaction, completion of role requirements, and achievement of expansion and renewal revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advocacy & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for an assigned portfolio of Purview clients.
  • Know each client's needs, workflows, and definition of success to build trust and turn clients into long-term Purview advocates.
  • Expedite client issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to mitigate friction and protect client satisfaction.
  • Upgrade legacy clients to current account plan structures.
  • Set up new and expansion customer contracts in the company billing system.
  • Keep clients informed of relevant product updates, educational content, and best practices to reinforce Purview's role as an industry leader.
  • Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure clients have a strong first impression and smooth transition onto Expert View and Purview Image usage.
  • Lead retention efforts for at-risk accounts, and if the account is ultimately lost, manage a clean, respectful offboarding that preserves the relationship for future opportunities.
  • Document and track client meetings, critical conversations, issues, and account activity in the company CRM to ensure proper follow-up and identify trends.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of Expert View, Purview Image, and related imaging/EMR workflows to guide clients toward optimal usage of the platform.

Account Growth & Revenue Expansion

  • Proactively farm the existing client base to uncover upsell, cross-sell, expansion, and referral opportunities across additional users, locations, imaging volume, and complementary products.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of expansion opportunities within assigned accounts, accurately tracking activity, forecasts, and outcomes in the CRM.
  • Identify data and usage trends that support upgrading accounts to higher volume plans.
  • Own the full expansion sales cycle for existing clients, including needs discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to package and position new offerings to existing clients.
  • Support contract renewals by demonstrating ongoing value and addressing risk factors well ahead of renewal dates.
  • Meet or exceed individual retention, expansion, and revenue growth targets for the assigned portfolio.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • College degree or at least 2-3 years of experience working with client accounts, account management, or client success.
  • Comfort and confidence engaging in revenue-oriented conversations, including identifying needs and proposing paid solutions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate professionalism and a client-first approach.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage a multi-client portfolio and shepherd the right resources to ensure timely follow-through.
  • Self-sufficient and disciplined; able to work independently while tracking toward individual and team goals.
  • Able to stay positive and measured when faced with challenges, methodical in your work, and eager to learn.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft applications including Excel; experience with a CRM (HubSpot or similar) preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for in-person client meetings and Company or team-mandated events.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a blended client success / account management role that included renewal or expansion revenue responsibility.
  • Experience selling or supporting healthcare, medical imaging, legal, veterinary, or research-oriented clients.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging or EMR workflows (DICOM, PACS, VNA, RIS) or a demonstrated ability to learn technical products quickly.
  • A “hunter-farmer” mindset: equally comfortable nurturing relationships and pursuing incremental revenue opportunities.

Why Join HealthMark Group & Purview

  • Own a meaningful book of business and see the direct, visible impact of your work on both client satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Work with Purview Image and Expert View clients across healthcare, legal, veterinary, and research settings on real-world, mission-driven use cases.
  • Build a career path that blends client success and revenue-generating account management skills.
  • Contribute to a mission-driven organization improving access to medical information and supporting better patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team where ownership, initiative, and a client-first mindset are valued.
