1. Strategic Proposal Development: Lead the development of complex and strategic proposals, including design-build and alternative delivery projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and corporate objectives. 4. Content Management: Maintain and refine a library of reusable content, such as resumes, project sheets, and boilerplate responses. Ensure all content reflects the company's capabilities, experience, and achievements, while adhering to branding guidelines.
5. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide proposal managers and support staff, fostering skill development and improving proposal processes.
6. Quality Assurance: Oversee the review process for proposals, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and creativity.
7. Executive Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for executives during major pursuits, providing status updates and strategic insights.
8. Innovation and Improvement: Identify and implement best practices, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and proposal effectiveness.
9. Relationship Management: Develop relationships with teaming partners and subcontractors, managing their contributions to proposals.
10. Market Research: Conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.
11. Post-Submission Activities: Facilitate debriefs and lessons learned sessions to improve future proposal efforts.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
· 10+ years of experience in proposal management in the AEC industry, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
· Strong understanding of federal, state, and local government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
· Proficiency in proposal management tools and familiarity with AEC industry standards.
· Expertise in complex proposal strategies, including alternative delivery methods.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills and attention to detail.
