Software Engineering Internship

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team in Lisbon through an IEFP internship programme.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to get their first professional experience in Software Engineering, putting academic knowledge into practice while learning from experienced engineers and contributing to real projects.

You'll gradually get involved in software development and maintenance, testing, requirements analysis, documentation, and team activities with the support and guidance of our Engineering team.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

Join the Engineering team and learn how software projects are developed in a real professional environment:

• Support requirements analysis and understand project needs
• Contribute to the development of small features and application maintenance
• Participate in testing and help identify and fix issues
• Support technical and functional documentation
• Take part in team meetings and knowledge-sharing activities
• Gradually develop your technical skills, autonomy, and understanding of software development best practices

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Academic knowledge of programming, software development, databases, algorithms, and software development methodologies
• Strong interest in Technology and Software Engineering
• Good analytical and organisational skills
• Proactive mindset, sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Motivation to develop technical skills and gain practical experience
