Account Executive – U.S. Federal (m/f/d)

Why we need you

Maltego is the OSINT and link-analysis platform investigators, analysts, and security teams use to turn scattered data into actionable intelligence in minutes instead of days. Maltego’s U.S. Federal business has solid foundations with deep user advocacy across multiple civilian and DoD agencies, and has tremendous opportunity to extend and expand. This is a ground-floor seat for a complex deal orchestrator who has already closed seven-figure federal deals and is able to combine building blocks in the right way to create enterprise value.

What to expect

• Build a mid-market federal pipeline across DoD, the Intelligence Community, DHS, DOJ, and civilian agencies by combining self-sourced outbound prospecting with inbound leads and partner/reseller-sourced opportunities.
• Run full sales cycles — discovery, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept through to signature — on federal procurement timelines (GSA Schedules, GWACs, fiscal-year budget cycles) rather than in spite of them.
• Translate Maltego's platform capabilities into a clear mission narrative for investigators and analysts, tailored to each agency's use case.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineering to run tight, credible evaluations, and with channel/partner teams to convert partner-sourced opportunities into closed business.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities inside existing accounts and own renewal and expansion negotiations.
• Own forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce; report bookings, win rates, and deal status on a weekly cadence.
• Represent Maltego at federal industry days, conferences, and technical working groups; travel up to ~25%.

Your profile in short

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, or as needed for the role.
• 5+ years of enterprise software or cybersecurity sales experience, with a track record of closing six-figure-plus deals in the federal market.
• Working knowledge of federal procurement — contract vehicles (GSA Schedules, GWACs), budgeting cycles, and buying processes.
• Experience selling into DoD/IC or federal civilian agencies and building credibility with government stakeholders, from end users to contracting officers.
• A genuine business-development mindset: comfortable generating your own pipeline while also converting inbound and partner-sourced leads effectively.
• Skill in translating technical concepts (OSINT, link analysis, threat intelligence) into mission outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
