Job description

Mission:

Your mission is to identify, monitor and ensure compliance with the regulatory obligations and governance policies applicable to each and every entity in the Interpetrol Group, as the number of such entities grows from time to time.

A priority in your role will be to conceive and implement processes that ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and governance obligations of all Group entities, by relying on commercial software services, local service providers, and AI agents, with the goal of making group-wide compliance better performant and more resilient.

Interpetrol will support you in numerous ways, including by providing:

  • an existing network of advisors, to identify and understand relevant obligations
  • an existing network of service providers already engaged to assure compliance with these obligations
  • software systems to design and execute the processes developed in your role
  • a budget to engage additional services

 

Location:

This is a remote work position available to candidates resident in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany and Ireland.

Requirements:

  • a valid work permit in your country of residence
  • proficiency in general accounting principles and the interpretation of financial statements
  • proficiency in tax and legal concepts, relevant to understanding EU regulations applicable to a multi-national commodities trading group
  • experience with business process automation tools
  • demonstrated interest in using AI agents and safely incorporating them into business processes
  • ability to communicate complex ideas precisely and efficiently in English
