Job description

This is a remote position.

As an Accounting Virtual Assistant, you will provide essential support to our accounting and finance team by managing a variety of financial and administrative tasks.
Your responsibilities will include bookkeeping, preparing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with financial reporting.
You will also handle data entry for financial records, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Virtual Assistant role should have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and experience with bookkeeping or financial management.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools is highly preferred.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate financial records. Excellent communication skills are necessary for collaborating with team members and clients. A degree or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in a virtual assistant or accounting role is a plus.
The ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving financial systems will be key to success in this position.
