About the Role 

This is a full-time remote position for a Pre-Construction Administrator who takes ownership and delivers without being chased. 

You will manage the entire pre construction process from contract through to site start, ensuring every project is complete, compliant, and ready to move into construction without delays. 

You will not be micromanaged, but you will be accountable for outcomes.


Key Responsibilities 

• Prepare and coordinate all documentation from contract signing through to construction commencement

• Track and manage building approvals, certifications, and authority requirements

• Liaise with internal teams including sales, estimating, drafting, and construction

• Coordinate with external consultants including surveyors, engineers, and certifiers

• Maintain accurate client and project records within CRM and internal systems

• Review all documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

• Lodge applications with councils, developers, QBCC, and QLeave


What Success Looks Like 

• Projects are fully documented, accurate, and ready for construction

• Approvals are lodged correctly and on time

• Handover to construction is smooth with no missing information

• You become the go to person for clean, organised pre construction files



Requirements

Important 

• This role requires experience with a Queensland residential home builder and be located in QLD

• Candidates without residential construction experience will not be considered

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted

What You’ll Need 

  • 3 years (+) experience in residential construction

  • Strong understanding of the construction process

  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and documentation

  • High level organisation and document control skills

  • Clear and professional communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Proactive mindset with strong accountability

  • Confidence working independently in a remote environment

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Experience with Onsite Companion highly regarded
