Our healthcare services division supports clients with a range of outsourced services, including medical and hospital billing, clinical coding, and virtual administration roles such as medical reception, nursing, and accounting support.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Junior Product Owner to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their product management career, with a solid foundation in Agile practices and a keen interest in healthcare technology. You will work closely with senior product leaders, developers, and clients to help deliver meaningful software enhancements and features that improve healthcare operations across Australia.

This is a fully remote position offering growth opportunities, training, and exposure to real-world Agile delivery in the fast-evolving healthcare technology space. 


Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in gathering and analysing user and client needs to support product definition.
  • Collaborate with senior product owners to define and maintain product backlogs.
  • Help document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Monitor the status of assigned tasks and assist in communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Conduct basic testing and support QA processes to ensure feature readiness.
  • Maintain product documentation and support the preparation of training materials.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, health informatics, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum principles (Agile certification is a plus).

Required Experience
  • 6–12 months of experience in a product, business analyst, or support coordination role in a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to backlog management, product lifecycle, or user requirement gathering.

Skills and Attributes
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with software development workflows and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Interest in the healthcare sector and improving digital health systems.

Salary: 65,000 - 80,000
