About the Position | Te Mahi

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse Contractor to provide specialist clinical services across the Wellington region.

As an independent contractor, you will work autonomously, delivering high-quality clinical care and support to people in their homes and within the community. You will utilize your nursing expertise to conduct assessments, provide case management and patient education, and support positive health outcomes for those in your care.

The role also involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with GP practices, healthcare providers, and other referral partners to ensure a seamless and client-centred service.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a clinically confident nurse with extensive wound care experience and a genuine passion for community-based healthcare. Experience in district or community nursing would be highly advantageous.

As a contractor with Healthvision, you will have the autonomy to manage your caseload while being supported by an experienced clinical team committed to delivering exceptional care outcomes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • New Zealand Registration and current practicing certificate
  • Experience in wound and/ or burn cares is required
  • Prior experience in catheter and continence management
  • Hold a current drivers licence, have access to a reliable vehicle, and must be eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing the best service delivery to our clients
