Job description

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer, Production Studio

At Intercept, we’re building the future of work through a hybrid human + AI model. Our team is supported by custom-built AI teammates that act as thinking partners, process accelerators, self-serve assistants etc., freeing our people to focus on high-value creative and strategic work. We don’t replace human talent; we amplify it.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer, Studio Production to join Intercept’s creative studio. This role is execution-focused and detail-driven, ideal for someone who thrives on taking creative direction and turning it into high-quality, production-ready assets across channels, formats, and markets.

You’ll work closely with Creative Directors, Designers, Account teams, and occasionally Motion partners to ensure assets are built accurately, efficiently, and at scale — without compromising craft. This role is critical to keeping our studio moving fast while maintaining the quality our clients expect.

Responsibilities

Studio Collaboration & Communication

  • Participate actively in internal brief calls, studio syncs, and all-hands meetings, contributing thoughtful input and asking clarifying questions to ensure alignment
  • Take clear, actionable notes during internal and client calls to support accurate execution and follow-through
  • Respond promptly to internal briefs and maintain clear communication with account and creative teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Flag risks, gaps, or inefficiencies early and propose practical solutions
  • Support internal studio processes by helping prepare materials for team meetings and reviews

Project & Workflow Management

  • Manage your own workback schedules to ensure assets are delivered on time and to spec
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously, navigating context switching and feedback rounds with confidence
  • Manage bandwidth proactively and communicate timelines clearly with project stakeholders
  • Maintain urgency without sacrificing accuracy, even in fast-moving production environments
  • Ensure a clear understanding of requirements before execution begins to avoid rework

Production Design & Execution

  • Execute high-quality, production-ready designs that align with established brand systems, creative direction, and client briefs
  • Adapt core creative concepts across formats, channels, and regions with precision and consistency
  • Build and refine layouts for B2B marketing assets, including:
  • eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, and one-pagers
  • PowerPoint and sales enablement presentations
  • Email templates and campaign assets
  • Display, paid social, and organic social assets (static and light animation)
  • Print and environmental materials (direct mail, signage, premiums, event graphics)
  • Prepare static frame-by-frame layouts for motion and animated assets, independently or in collaboration with animators
  • Learn and apply new tools, platforms, and formats as directed by creative leadership
  • Conduct thorough self-reviews to ensure assets meet quality standards and follow internal review processes

Quality Control & Problem Solving

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in layout, typography, and visual consistency
  • Catch errors before assets move to review or delivery
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when solving production challenges, especially under tight timelines
  • Apply feedback quickly and thoughtfully, maintaining consistency across versions

Research & Skill Development

  • Stay current on production design best practices, tools, and emerging formats
  • Bring learnings back to the team to improve workflows and output quality
  • Develop a deep understanding of client brands and requirements to inform execution decisions

Innovation, Learning & AI Enablement

  • Demonstrate curiosity and openness to new tools, processes, and ways of working
  • Apply AI-powered tools to support asset adaptation, formatting, and production efficiency
  • Use AI to assist with scaling content across formats, versions, and channels
  • Incorporate AI-enabled workflows to streamline repetitive production tasks and improve turnaround times
  • Stay informed on how AI is shaping production design and bring forward ideas to improve workflows

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in production design or execution-focused creative roles
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and presentation design tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working at scale
  • Experience producing B2B marketing assets across digital, social, email, presentation, and print formats is a plus
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a remote, collaborative studio environment
  • Clear communicator who takes ownership of their work and timelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work in a digital and cross-functional team environment
  • Comfortable working with AI-powered tools to support production workflows, asset scaling, and efficiency
  • Bilingualism (ENG/FR) considered an asset, but not required
