Location:
Fully remote within Texas, with a preference for candidates in the Austin area. Candidates must reside within approximately 100 miles of Austin and be able to appear in court when needed. A dedicated home workspace, high-speed internet, and multiple monitors are required.
Note:
Candidates must have an active Texas Bar license in good standing, at least 2 years of family law experience, and demonstrated experience serving as lead attorney on their own cases and representing clients as lead counsel in courtroom hearings or other proceedings.

Job Description
- Manage a caseload of family law matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, property division, modifications, and enforcement.
- Serve as lead attorney on assigned cases and take ownership of case strategy from intake through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop practical, well-supported case strategies.
- Represent clients as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and other court proceedings.
- Advise clients regarding their legal rights, options, risks, and potential outcomes.
- Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient, favorable resolutions when appropriate.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members.
- Coordinate with legal support staff to keep matters organized, moving forward, and on schedule.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, responsiveness, and client service in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
- 2+ years of directly relevant family law experience.
- Demonstrated lead attorney experience managing your own family law cases.
- Lead courtroom or hearing experience.
- Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and case-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage deadlines, priorities, and a remote caseload.
- Familiarity with Texas family law procedures, local rules, and court practices.
