About the Role:

The EHR Support Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems within our affiliate organizations. This position is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and best practice guidance to end-users, enabling efficient and accurate documentation of patient information. The analyst collaborates closely with clinical and billing staff, IT teams, and vendors to identify system issues, implement solutions, and enhance system functionality to meet evolving industry needs. By maintaining data integrity and compliance with state and funder regulations, the role supports improved patient care outcomes and operational efficiency. Ultimately, the EHR Support Analyst serves as a vital link between technology and clinical practice and billing, driving continuous improvement in care delivery through effective EHR system management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work expeirence.
  • 3 or more years working with Electronic Health Record systems, preferably in a behavorial health, IDD, or social services setting.
  • Strong understanding of clinical and billing workflows and clinical documentation processes.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and providing end-user support.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of  EHR systems such as myAvatar, myEvolv, or Credible.
  • Experience with healthcare data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or billing environment or healthcare IT support role.
  • Basic SQL query knowledge
