About This Role: 

As a Medical Operations Coordinator, you will be a vital part of the Polish medical organization, working under the guidance of the Medical Director. You will operationalize medical activities in the country, maintaining high-quality standards. This position involves collaborating with Local Medical Teams to implement the national medical plan for all therapeutic areas (TAs), helping to establish Biogen's reputation as a trusted medical-scientific partner within the neuroscience community in Poland. You'll work closely with the entire Medical Team, including TAs Medical Leads and MLMs, to support them in leading and managing medical projects. Cooperating with all Medical Team members and other functions like Compliance, Legal, Finance, you will support high-value medical activities, emphasizing excellence in execution. Your contributions will be integral to advancing Biogen's medical presence in Poland.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee medical projects, including external medical-scientific engagements, advisory board meetings, KME engagements at congresses.
  • Manage medical sponsorships and ensure smooth execution of external engagements according to plan, timeline, and budget.
  • Drive sustainable operational efficiencies.
  • Guide colleagues in resolving operational problems and provide new perspectives on existing solutions and tools.
  • Coordinate and manage external agencies and vendors to ensure compliance and governance.
  • Minimize operational burdens on the local medical team by partnering operationally with MLMs and Medical Leads.
  • Serve as the medical point of contact for digital projects.
  • Ensure congress management is executed properly, including procedures and roll-out.
  • Supports the Material Owner with Materials that are cycling through the review and approval workflow

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English.
  • 1-3 years of experience focused on functional operations, process optimization/execution, and systems implementation.
  • Experience in managing and leading initiatives, driving quality and governance efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks by setting priorities and exercising good judgment.
  • Capability to navigate in a changing environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in project/program management.
  • Familiarity with compliance and global policies.

  • Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.

The base compensation range for this role is: zł93,000.00-zł124,500.00
