UW Medicine Ambulatory Division has an outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager, Ambulatory Medicine Division

WORK SCHEDULE

100% FTE

Hybrid 3 Days Remote

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

UW Medicine owns  or operates Ambulatory facilities withing Harborview Medical Center, Northwest and Montlake Medical Center. The Project Manager, Ambulatory Medicine Division will serve as a critical resource in supporting, managing and driving hospital operations projects and initiatives. The position will support operations management in executing top priority operations projects that may cross locations or entities and involve various teams in addition to operations such as IT, Facilities and Finance.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage complex operational projects throughout the entire project lifecycle--initiation through closure
  • Provides project management for full project life cycle of complex, top-priority operational projects
  • Monitors and manages project health with strong documentation including milestones, deliverables, scope, risks, issues and resources needed to successfully execute the projects
  • Builds and utilizes common project management tools and standard approaches while managing multiple stakeholders
  • Work with sponsors and key leaders to establish key success metrics for the project
  • Use expertise in standard project management tools including but not limited to charters, project plans / Gantt charts, RAID logs, RACI, communication plans, change management plans and executive status reporting
  • Establish project governance, manage risk and issues and handle project escalations to keep projects within scope, schedule and budget

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in the areas of information systems, business administration, health care administration or related field
  • At least 7 years of demonstrated success/results in Project Management  (e.g., having overseen and managed multiple projects)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, employees and teams to work toward deploying a different future state:
  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in large and small audiences.
  • Proven experience motivating high-performing individuals; creating inclusive and collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work deliverables
  • Strong communications in verbal and written in all settings.
  • Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members
  • High levels of competency with: Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Requires minimal supervision; models effective leadership skills; communicate effectively with project team members
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$102,000.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$130,008.00 annual
