The Technology team at Chatham is responsible for building scalable, innovative fintech solutions that support global investment decisions. As a Full Stack Engineer within the Product Engineering department, you will contribute to the design, development, and operation of applications used by Chatham’s clients and internal teams.


In this role you will:


• Develop innovative, high-quality, and robust financial applications and microservices as part of our growing application development team.
• Work as a member of an Agile Scrum team that owns the development and ongoing evolution of a specific product or platform.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams, designers, quantitative analysts, product owners, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Build software using an evolving technology stack that currently includes .NET, ASP.NET, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, NServiceBus, and Redis.
• Create automated unit, integration, and front-end tests using frameworks such as xUnit, Moq, NSubstitute, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Implement and improve build, test, and deployment workflows through CI/CD pipelines using Docker, YAML, and GitHub Actions.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play an important role in building and evolving Chatham’s technology platforms. You will deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable software that supports both client-facing products and internal
business applications.

Your work will directly contribute to product functionality, user experience, platform quality, and engineering efficiency. You will help translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions while contributing to a collaborative and continuously improving engineering culture.


Contributors to your success:

• B.S. or M.S. studies in Computer Science/Information Technology / Statistics / Mathematics /Management Information Systems
• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with .NET and C#.
• Commercial experience with React and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience working with complex applications.
• Knowledge of APIs, relational databases, SQL, Git, testing, and CI/CD.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, or problem-solving.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.


Nice to Have:


• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with Ruby or Python.
• Experience with microservices or event-driven systems.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Container Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Key Vault, or Application Insights.
• Experience in financial services or another complex business domain.
• Experience working with distributed or geographically dispersed teams.
