Job description

Besties for the Resties

For individuals ages 14-20 with a passion for supporting their community: Join the FRIENDS Youth in Action Board and make a meaningful impact in the lives of your neighbors with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a member, you’ll develop leadership skills, teamwork, and collaboration with other youth in Broomfield and surrounding communities. You'll also gain hands-on experience in fundraising, event planning, and cultural awareness while advocating for inclusion and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

Commitment

  • One-year commitment
  • Attend meetings throughout the year, following an agreed-upon schedule, with meetings occurring more frequently between August and May.
