The Public Policy, Advocacy, and Outreach Committee is dedicated to outreach, education, and advocacy of FASD United’s mission to community partners, public officials, and the community at large to create a world that supports people living with FASD.
The committee coordinates with staff and the Philanthropy Committee to present a cohesive message to all constituents outside of FASD United, ensuring the organization presents a consistent message to the outside work in all communication and advocacy efforts.
We strive to stay informed on current state and national legislation and are committed to building a supportive and informed community with the objective to ensure that people living FASD are recognized and supported.

Reports to: FASD United Board of Directors
Staff Relationship: As recommended by the Chief Executive Officer.
Committee Composition: The Committee shall have up to seven (7) members, including up to five (5) non-Board members and each member shall have a term up to two years. The Board chair shall appoint the committee chair who shall be a Board member.
Roles and responsibilities:
This committee meets monthly.
