Medical Biller

Required: 1-2 years of US healthcare experience (billing experience preferred)

Our customer is seeking a full-time medical billing professional for his growing healthcare billing business.

Role Responsibilities:

• Process daily claims for mental health providers
• Verify benefits with insurance companies
• Check for claim processing issues
• Make insurance calls for benefit verification
• Resolve complex billing problems

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• HIPAA compliance awareness
• Responsive and motivated to learn
• Ability to work Central time zone hours

Preferred (but not mandatory) Skills:

• Knowledge of Illinois healthcare policies
• Familiarity with major insurance companies (BCBS Illinois, Aetna, Cigna)
• Experience in medical billing

Work Volume:

• Currently handling 20-30 claims per week
• Expected workload around 2 hours daily
• Potential for growth as business expands
