Job description

The Graphic Designer working in collaboration with the Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and updating creative initiatives and concepts that support marketing campaigns and efforts. To be successful in this position, a Graphic Designer must be detail-oriented, have strong project, time management skills and the ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and create/edit new and existing creatives for multiple mediums such as email, web & e-commerce, social media ads (organic and paid), video editing, point of sale materials, direct mail, print ads, online advertising, billboard, newsletter, event collateral, as well as other mediums

Demonstrate a proven understanding of layout, type and color and ability to take direction to create complete layouts that effectively reflects the brand standards

Support photography art direction, to include stock imagery selection and custom shoot production support

Create layouts while maintaining the corporate identity standards and any third-party brand standards

Collaborate with corporate office and stores to ensure content quality, accuracy, timeliness, appropriateness and adherence to corporate and vendor brand guidelines

Proof artwork and preflight files for release into production while maintaining an updated list of creative deadlines for multiple vendors

The ability to follow and apply brand guidelines

Produce final files that image properly to printer specifications and send to print vendors

Maintain and develop competency and awareness in the latest design trends to provide fresh/new creatives

Prepare files in various forms (eps, tif, pdf, jpg, etc.) as needed

Work with Marketing team to provide digital mock-ups of store signage for new and existing stores, provide print-ready files to printers and update creative files as needed

Collaborate with the copywriters and designers to find engaging creative solutions as directed by the Creative Manager

Partner with graphic coordinator to meet specific requests and deadlines

Being able to collaborate with and work with a team

Education and Experience:

Associate or Bachelor degree in Graphic Design/Communications or related fields or equivalent experience

2+ years of Graphic design experience with retailer/consumer/lifestyle brands preferred

Submission of an online or digital portfolio is required for consideration

Skills:

Proficient in English, both written and verbal

Possess strong skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD,

Must have very strong illustration and type setting skills.

Desired experience with e-commerce and/or Web graphic design

Video, animation, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, UI/UX experience or knowledge is a plus.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Drive, Google Docs

Possess a high level of both written and oral communication skills.

Positive, motivated, collaborative team player with strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
