Position Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated AP Controller to join our growing Accounting team in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute all Accounts Payable functions, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with company best practices.
- Prepare, analyze, and review reports related to prepayments, accruals, and vendor accounts, identifying discrepancies and providing actionable insights.
- Partner closely with regional teams including contracting, program services, operations, and finance to support smooth and efficient financial processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional vendors by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication.
- Monitor AP workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring accurate financial reporting and documentation.
- Maintain organized financial records and contribute to a collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented team environment.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and support business needs in a fast-paced international environment.
Qualifications
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred, but motivated early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial systems and reports.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an international team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, primarily office-based with occasional work-from-home flexibility.
Total Rewards
The salary for this position is €23,400.00 annually. This is a fixed salary aligned with the level of the role.
