Job description

We're growing, and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us.

We manage paid search and paid social campaigns for homebuilders across North America. We don't take Google's recommendations at face value; we have the data and experience to know what actually works, and we'll teach you how to think that way too.

This is a fully remote position. You can work from anywhere in the US.

What You'll Do:

Owns the technical backbone of our marketing systems: tagging, tracking, and platform integrations across Digital Advertising, CRM, and Local SEO. Builds and troubleshoots tracking infrastructure so every team can trust the data it's working from. Mid-level role (2–5 years of experience) with room to grow into a more senior technical specialist as scope expands. Other responsibilities include:

  • Builds, maintains, and audits Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers across client accounts: tags, triggers, and variables.
  • Implements conversion tracking across ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Bing) and troubleshoots tracking issues as they arise.
  • Configures and maintains Meta event tracking for accurate, resilient server-side event tracking.
  • Diagnoses and resolves tagging discrepancies, tracking gaps, and data quality issues; escalates platform-level bugs when needed.
  • Builds and maintains integrations between CRM systems and ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta) so lead and sales data flows accurately in both directions.
  • Manages broader ad platform integrations, including call tracking and other connected data sources.
  • Partners with the SEM/PPC, CRM, and Local SEO teams to ensure tracking supports accurate attribution and reporting.
  • Audits and builds out tracking infrastructure during new client onboarding.
  • QAs tracking implementations before campaign launches to catch issues proactively, not after the fact.
  • Documents tracking setups, integration configurations, and troubleshooting steps for the team's shared reference.
  • Works with the team to improve and maintain tracking and configuration best practices across platforms.
  • Stays current on ad platform pixel, API, and privacy changes (e.g., Meta CAPI, GA4, iOS/consent updates) and flags impacts to the broader team.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in marketing technology, with real work in Google Tag Manager (not just familiarity, actual container builds and troubleshooting)
  • Experience implementing conversion tracking across ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Bing) and diagnosing tracking issues when they break
  • Some exposure to server-side tracking or Meta CAPI, or a strong willingness to get fluent in it quickly
  • Experience with at least one CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and connecting CRM data to ad platforms
  • Comfort managing tracking across multiple client accounts at once; this is an agency environment, and juggling different setups, stakeholders, and priorities is part of the job
  • A troubleshooting mindset. You like figuring out why something's broken more than you mind that it broke
  • Four-year degree preferred, or a track record of proven experience that speaks for itself

Why Join Us:

  • Results over hype. We use proven, tested strategies and let the data do the talking
  • We check our egos at the door. Everyone here is working toward the same goal and genuinely cheers each other on
  • Growth mindset is baked into our culture. We encourage curiosity, asking questions, and constantly improving your craft
  • We over-deliver for our partners, and we bring that same commitment to our team
  • 100% remote. Work from anywhere in the US
  • No travel required, but you'll have the option to join us at our annual Summit
