Location: Fully Remote
Position Type: Volunteer Conversation Partner
Note: This is an UNPAID volunteer position. Eligible volunteers may receive a certificate of service and a reference letter upon successful completion of their commitment.


About the Role

The Nao Now Foundation is looking for passionate and compassionate volunteer conversation partners to help both children and adults improve their English communication skills through one-on-one virtual lessons.

As a volunteer conversation partner, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping learners build confidence, strengthen their English communication skills, and expand their educational, professional, and personal opportunities.

No prior teaching experience is required. We provide the curriculum, lesson materials, and ongoing support—you simply bring your enthusiasm and passion for helping others learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach 25-minute, one-on-one English lessons

Schedule Requirements

  • Flexible scheduling based on available time of the volunteer 

  • Minimum commitment: one 25-minute lesson per week

Technical Requirements

  • Stable internet (minimum 60 Mbps)

  • Computer less than five years old recommended

  • Professional, distraction-free workspace
