As a Pediatric Telehealth Occupational Therapist, you will support children of various ages by helping them build independence in daily living skills, improve motor abilities, and develop the sensory, cognitive, and emotional skills they need to thrive.

You’ll be part of a collaborative pediatric therapy team that values connection, quality care, and making a difference in the lives of children and families.


πŸ’° Compensation

  • $45 per billable hour ($11.25 per unit)
  • $70 per completed evaluation

Compensation is based on attended and completed patient appointments.


πŸ•’ Schedule & Flexibility

  • Primary need: After-school hours through 7 PM
  • Weekend availability is also needed
  • Flexible scheduling based on patient needs and therapist availability

What You’ll Do

πŸ“ Evaluations & Re-Evaluations

  • Complete initial evaluations and required re-evaluations for patients on your caseload
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings, family goals, and patient needs

πŸ’» Provide Telehealth Therapy Services

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions through virtual platforms
  • Help children improve functional skills and independence in daily activities

  • Provide coaching, education, and strategies to families, caregivers, and teachers
  • Help carry over therapeutic goals into home and community environments

πŸ“ˆ Monitor Progress

  • Track and document patient progress
  • Adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate updates with families and healthcare professionals

🀝 Collaborate With a Pediatric Team

  • Work alongside Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, physicians, and other professionals to provide coordinated care

What We’re Looking For

A Therapist Who Is:

βœ… Comfortable working independently in a contractor-based role
βœ… Able to manage a caseload, documentation, scheduling, and family communication independently
βœ… Confident completing both evaluations and treatment sessions
βœ… Comfortable learning and navigating telehealth technology
βœ… Professional, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality care


Telehealth Readiness

Prior telehealth experience is preferred, but not required.

We are looking for therapists who:

  • Are comfortable using technology and learning new platforms
  • Can independently navigate virtual therapy tools
  • Have a reliable internet connection
  • Have access to a quiet, secure space for virtual sessions
  • Can troubleshoot basic technology needs such as video platforms, virtual meeting links, and digital communication tools

Training & Support

We want our therapists set up for success!

New therapists will receive paid required onboarding and training to help them become familiar with our processes, expectations, and telehealth workflows.

Additional optional support opportunities may be available; however, optional meetings or check-ins are not compensated unless designated as required.

This role is designed for therapists who are confident practicing independently within their scope of care while having access to a collaborative team environment.


Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required (unless transitioned into accreditation with a bachelor’s degree)

Licensure

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are provided (primarily Texas)

Experience

  • Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Telehealth experience is a plus

Skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and technology
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach when working with children and families
