Job description

About The Cohort

The Cohort is a groundbreaking AI-powered Talent platform designed to help innovative companies hire top-tier talent with unprecedented speed and efficiency. Our mission is to revolutionize the hiring process, making it 3x faster than traditional methods by leveraging a suite of intelligent agents—Sally the Sourcer, Pete the Prospector, Eva the Evaluator, and Charlie the Closer. We are a passionate team of builders and problem-solvers with a proven track record of scaling high-performance engineering teams. Just as AWS transformed server infrastructure, The Cohort is set to redefine the future of hiring.

The Role

We are looking for a strategic and creative Product Marketing Manager to own the narrative and go-to-market strategy for our AI Talent platform. In this critical role, you will be the bridge between our product, marketing, and sales teams, responsible for translating our innovative technology into a compelling story that resonates with our target audience of founders and hiring leaders. You will be the expert on our customers, our competition, and our market, using those insights to shape our product roadmap and drive commercial success. This is a foundational role with a significant opportunity to define our market presence and fuel our growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine our product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks. Craft compelling narratives that differentiate The Cohort in the market and clearly communicate our benefits to target personas.

•Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the planning, execution, and measurement of product launches and feature releases. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful and impactful market introductions.

•Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the knowledge and materials they need to win. Create and maintain a library of high-impact sales collateral, including pitch decks, case studies, competitive battle cards, and product datasheets.

•Market Intelligence: Serve as the expert on our target buyers, their pain points, and their journey. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and share these insights across the company.

•Content Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content—such as blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, and website copy—that drives awareness, generates demand, and establishes The Cohort as a thought leader.

•Customer Advocacy: Engage with our customer base to build a community of advocates, develop case studies, and capture testimonials that bring our value proposition to life.

Qualifications

•5+ years of experience in product marketing for a B2B SaaS company.

•Proven success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products or features.

•Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with a portfolio of compelling marketing content and sales collateral.

•Strong analytical abilities, with experience using market research and data to inform strategy.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

•A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.

•A deep understanding of the HR technology, Talent, or talent acquisition landscape is highly desirable.
