Job description

Capital Partnerships Lead

About Teton

Teton is building the foundational data layer for the point of care, using real-time, multimodal AI to generate a digital twin of the resident and care environment. Our proprietary computer-vision system enables staff to automate documentation, proactively manage resident acuity, and streamline workflows across entire facilities. From assisted living communities to hospital wards, our system delivers unprecedented access to real-time data insights, empowering providers with actionable intelligence to enhance decision-making and elevate care delivery.

About the role

Some of Teton's most important relationships are with its capital partners, the REITs, private equity firms, and institutional owners who own the senior-housing assets our product runs in. They decide whether Teton scales from a handful of communities to entire portfolios. That channel is the difference between selling one community at a time and moving thousands of units in a single decision.

We are hiring a Capital Partnerships Lead to own it end to end.

This is a senior, high-autonomy seat. You will set the strategy for how Teton engages the institutional capital that sits behind senior housing, carry those relationships at the executive level, and lead the commercial work that converts them into portfolio-wide deployments. You will negotiate master agreements with owners who move hundreds of millions of dollars, and you will do it with real latitude on structure, pricing, and sequencing.

You will also shape what we sell them. Portfolio Intelligence, our owner-facing product, exists because capital partners need a different view of their assets than operators do. You will be the voice that defines that roadmap.

This role reports to the SVP of Strategic Growth and takes over a book of relationships he currently carries. Expect to be in front of C-suites and senior client execs within your first quarter.

What you'll do

  • Own Teton's capital-partner strategy: which owners we pursue, in what order, with what commercial construct, and why.

  • Carry senior relationships directly. Build trust with heads of asset management, CIOs, operating partners, and C-suites at REITs, PE owners, and large institutional holders.

  • Lead large, complex commercial negotiations. Structure and close master agreements and portfolio-level rollouts, working with legal, finance, and operators to land terms that scale.

  • Build the investment case. Frame Teton in the language owners actually use: NOI, occupancy, labor cost, insurance and liability exposure, asset value, and exit multiple. Defend it under scrutiny.

  • Convert pilots into portfolios. Own the path from initial deployment to portfolio-wide commitment, including the data, the narrative, and the internal champions required to get there.

  • Set the direction of Portfolio Intelligence as the owner-facing product. Partner with product and engineering on a roadmap driven by what capital partners will pay for.

  • Work across the operator relationship. Owners and operators are separate decision-makers with different incentives. You will navigate both and know when to align them.

  • Build the team. Hire and develop the capital-partnerships function as the channel scales, starting with the analytical bench beneath you.

  • Represent Teton externally at industry forums, owner conferences, and investor settings where this market is made.

What we are looking for

  • 8 to 10+ years of experience spanning rigorous analytical work and senior commercial ownership. Common paths: private equity or investment banking into a commercial or corporate development leadership role, real estate or healthcare investing into operating leadership, or enterprise sales and partnerships with genuine financial depth.

  • A track record closing large, structurally complex deals. You have owned a negotiation from first meeting to signature, not just supported one.

  • Strategic judgment. You decide where not to spend time, you see two moves ahead, and you can explain the reasoning to a skeptical board.

  • Executive presence with institutional investors. You are comfortable and credible with people who allocate capital for a living.

  • Real commercial instinct on structure and pricing. You understand how deal construct drives adoption, not just revenue.

  • Fluency, or the ability to reach fluency fast, in senior housing and real estate economics: how owners underwrite assets, what drives valuation, how the operator relationship works.

  • Genuine ownership mentality. You will have a broad mandate and limited scaffolding. That should sound appealing rather than alarming.

  • Ability to build. This is a function to be built, not inherited. You should want the building part.

  • Nice to have: existing relationships in senior housing, healthcare real estate, or institutional owner networks. Valuable, but not a substitute for judgment and horsepower.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary, meaningful upside, and participation in our warrant program

  • Direct ownership of one of the highest-leverage channels in the business

  • Work with state-of-the-art technology in a rapidly evolving field

  • A vibrant, learning-focused work environment

  • 401(k) plan, paid time off, and health insurance

What It's Like Working at Teton

We are looking for people who believe in our long-term vision and value ownership and entrepreneurship rather than a traditional 9 to 5 role. With Teton you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the world through your work. So if you are looking for a ride and not just a job, come join us.
