Key Responsibilities:
· UI Development: Design, build, and maintain high-quality, responsive mobile user interfaces for both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
· Figma Integration: Efficiently translate Figma designs into clean, optimized native code, utilizing the Figma Developer Code Generator to accelerate development.
· Cross-Platform Expertise: Implement cohesive and consistent UI experiences across both iOS and Android platforms, adapting as needed to specific OS guidelines.
· Performance Optimization: Write optimized and maintainable code ensuring fast rendering and smooth interactions.
· Testing and Debugging: Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging on both platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and usability.
· API and Backend Integration: Collaborate with backend developers to seamlessly integrate APIs, ensuring fluid user interactions and real-time responsiveness.
· Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in mobile UI design and native application development.
· Collaboration: Partner closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to implement new features and refine existing ones.
· Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation covering UI architecture, implementation strategies, and design guidelines.
· Deployment: Support the deployment processes to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, managing updates and releases as necessary, including Firebase-based distribution.
· Ownership: Take full responsibility for the entire development process, ensuring project milestones are met with high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is beneficial but not required.
Experience:
· Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in mobile UI development.
· Proven expertise in Swift (UISwift) and Kotlin.
· Demonstrated proficiency in converting Figma designs into functional native applications using developer tools and automation.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in Swift (UISwift) and Kotlin for native UI development.
· Deep understanding of iOS and Android SDKs and development environments (Xcode, Android Studio).
· Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
· Familiarity with mobile UI/UX design principles, including platform-specific guidelines (Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design).
· Skilled in using version control systems, particularly Git.
· Experience with cloud-based APIs and push notification services.
· Experience with Firebase for application distribution and monitoring.
Language Skills:
· Very good command of English (spoken and written) is a must.
Soft Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
· Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
· Capable of independently managing tasks and prioritizing effectively.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in advanced UI frameworks such as SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.
· Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
· Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
· Agile methodology experience and proficiency with Agile development tools, preferably Microsoft Azure DevOps.
· Web development experience and familiarity with React and .NET web technologies is advantageous but not required.
