Your Impact from Day One

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at CSols, you won't just sell services — you will serve as a strategic consultant to organizations transforming their scientific data management. Driving growth across the Western and Central US, you'll identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships, and position CSols as the premier provider of laboratory informatics solutions (including LIMS, ELN, and enterprise systems). Additionally, you'll be one of our pioneer business development hires helping bring CSols's new AI-enablement offerings to market.

The Team You'll Be Joining: Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will collaborate closely with delivery experts and peer sales reps to transform complex client needs into scoped, successful partnerships.

What You Will Achieve

  • Strategic Consulting: Partner with laboratory directors, IT leaders, and QA executives to understand and solve their informatics pain points.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and leveraging CSols’s industry-leading reputation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, accurate, and tailored to client needs.
  • AI-Enabled Positioning: Engage prospects on applied AI trends, demonstrating how CSols capabilities translate emerging technologies into measurable business value.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor trends across life sciences, chemicals, and food & beverage sectors to effectively position CSols against competitors.

  • Domain Expertise: Familiarity with laboratory informatics (LIMS, ELN, CDS, or analytics) is preferred. Existing industry relationships are a bonus, but we welcome strong technical-sales generalists who learn quickly.
  • AI & Data Fluency: Comfortable discussing how connected data workflows and AI impact modern laboratories. Key to success is genuine curiosity and the ability to articulate business value.
