We collaborate with AWS, Google, and Databricks to build next-gen cloud platforms, from generative UIs to MLOps automation. Our global team of engineers and designers work on groundbreaking commercial and open-source initiatives. We thrive on innovation and push the edge of what’s possible with modern tooling, cloud-native design, and intelligent automation.

About the Role

We’re hiring a UX Design Lead to head experience design for a cutting-edge cloud-based AdTech platform enabling local media and digital agencies to run and optimize ad campaigns. You'll lead a team of two designers and own the end-to-end user experience strategy, including building a scalable design system and integrating AI into the design and UX workflows.

This is a strategic yet hands-on role that blends leadership, design excellence, and technical curiosity, ideal for someone who wants to bring structured design processes and AI-powered workflows into a fast-scaling product.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead UX strategy and execution for a digital marketing cloud-platform with complex, multi-role workflows (proposal builder, campaign setup, performance reporting).
  • Manage and mentor two UX/UI designers, fostering craft excellence, growth, and design maturity.
  • Own and evolve a scalable design system that enforces consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across the product.
  • Drive AI integration into UX processes: such as predictive UX flows, user personalization, and Figma plugin automations for speed and quality.
  • Coordinate user research and usability testing efforts; synthesize findings into actionable design improvements.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into high-fidelity design solutions (journey maps, prototypes, UI specs).
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, QA, and stakeholders in a lean, iterative cycle.
  • Champion design metrics and usability KPIs to align product evolution with business goals.

Must-Have Experience
  • 8+ years in UX/UI for complex web applications; at least 2 years in a design leadership or lead role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, team leadership, and business impact.
  • Expertise in Figma, design systems (Tokens, Components, Auto-layouts), and workflow optimization tools.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML capabilities in design such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Magician, Diagram, Cursor or any other AI based tool and enthusiasm for leveraging AI to improve user and team experience.
  • Solid grasp of human-centered design, accessibility, responsive frameworks, and design operations (DesignOps, Design System).
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, influence roadmaps, and defend design decisions with data.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills,  able to articulate UX strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business level presentation skills in English

Bonus Points
  • Experience in martech/adtech, campaign management, or workflow-heavy SaaS systems.
  • Knowledge of AI-powered personalization, adaptive UX, or data visualization principles.
  • Familiarity with analytics dashboards, multi-role UX, or permissions-based UIs.
