At Tyler Technologies, successful client implementations depend on providing clients with the quality reporting they need to run their business smoothly. You will work in a flexible, friendly, and collaborative environment alongside the Development team, Product Owner and Project Managers. Together, you will translate business requirements and mapping documents into reliable and useful converted data. As our SQL Reports Developer, you will analyze and map source data, write SQL scripts, generate the report layout following requirements, validate results and prepare them for stakeholder review. Responsibilities

  • Analyze client source data to ensure required data points are accounted for and work with your team to resolve data-element questions.
  • Write SQL scripts that get and process data.
  • Maintain and create generic and client-specific reports using reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and Project Managers to review requirements on upcoming reports.
  • Communicate with your team regularly to remove blockers, clear ambiguous requirements, and update them on the progress of your tasks.

Qualifications

  • You can develop and troubleshoot SQL scripts and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
  • You have experience analyzing, mapping, transforming, and validating structured data across source.
  • You can translate business rules and map data into accurate and useful reporting.
  • You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and work effectively across development, implementation, and project-management teams.
  • You can organize conversion activities, surface data or access dependencies early, and deliver work following agreed timelines.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience using GitHub for version control.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Telerik Reporting.
  • Experience working remotely with a team on a different time zone.
