Fully Remote | South Africa

We are looking for qualified, passionate and reliable Online English Teachers to join our global teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach students from around the world across a diverse range of classes, including both group and private lessons.

🌎 The Role

Teachers will be assigned across a global product portfolio and scheduled according to student demand and the range of classes available.

You may teach:

  • Grammar Webinars
  • Writing Classes
  • IELTS Preparation Classes
  • Private 1-to-1 Lessons
  • Group Classes
  • Other English programmes within the global portfolio

Classes will be delivered fully online, with students joining from different countries and backgrounds.

🎓 Requirements

Mandatory

To teach successfully from home, you will need:

Computer

  • Intel Core i5/i7 or AMD Ryzen 5/7 processor or equivalent
  • Minimum 8GB RAM (16GB preferred)
  • SSD storage
  • Full HD display
  • HD webcam
  • Quality headset and microphone

Internet & Power

  • Reliable fibre/broadband connectivity
  • Minimum 25 Mbps download and upload speeds
  • LAN cable connection for teaching
  • Reliable backup power solution, including:
    • UPS providing approximately 4–5 hours of backup power
    • Mini-UPS to keep your fibre router powered during outages

Workspace

  • Quiet, professional and dedicated workspace
  • Suitable lighting and a professional teaching environment
  • Minimal background noise and distractions
